He started his career from Cable Video India (Copyrights) in 1989 & has helped launch- Satellite TV Channels like B4U Music, B4U Movies from 2000 to 2010, Sahara News, Sahara One, Sahara Filmy, Care World, Hit7 English Music – North East territory, Green TV & Kaatyayani TV- Devotional Channel.
Mr Vikas Calla is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Prathem Bazar and has 6 years of experience in home shopping , e-commerce and print media. He was earlier associated with Times Internet, Naaptol, Big Deal TV ( sister company of Best Deal TV), TV Shop and associated with many startups across India and globally.
According to Mr Bajpai, the new channel will bring together a perfect balance between TV and online shopping at one single platform, which could tap the Indian market on a broader scale. With quality and value mixed, the brand thrives to provide an exceptional experience and convenience to its customers. The brand is soon looking to expand in the International market as well.
As per company sources, the channel will be available on direct to home (DTH) platform Dish TV-Videocon d2h and Airtel Digital TV. The company is also in talks with Tata Sky besides multi system operators (MSOs) for a carriage deal.
