Patrick : We are showcasing our MPEG-4 SD Chip for Digital STBs in the Indian Market. This is a highly advanced-chip with 55 nm design, 450 MHz and 32 bit core and RISC processor, Graphic User Interface(GUI) can be custom designed for the user on this chip. It is supported by many advanced security system like NDS, NSTP, Sumavision etc. We are producing chips for Cable Networks as well as Satellite TV supporting DVB-C and DVB-S2.

CQ : You have spent more than two years in the Industry in India. How has your experience been so far in the Indian market?

Andrew : Our journey has really been very tough till now, with the market completely fragmented and demanding extremely low cost. Due to fragmentation of the last mile, cable networks are very small and it becomes a problem to convince operators to invest in value added services. Some operators do not understand the long term value of their n etworks.
