The platform provides service under the brand ACT Fibernet. ACT operates in broadband internet and cable television segments mainly in cities of Southern India. These cities are Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Nellore and Vijayawada and have gradually expanded to its presence to other regions.
Its PBILDT soared 9.6% to Rs 583 crore compared to Rs 531.90 crore. PBILDT margins of the company marginally increased to 41.55% in FY19 as compared to 40.98% in FY18 on account of lower operating expenses.
The total operating income jumped 8.1% to Rs 1403.19 crore from Rs 1298 crore. The company’s average revenue per user (ARPU) level moderated in FY19 and 9MFY20 on account of the entry of a new entrant with an aggressive tariff plan pricing. Despite the new entrant, ACT has a subscriber base of 1.52 million.
