DEN Networks, the leading Cable TV & broadband service provider, has registered a consolidated operating profit of Rs 47 crore in Q3 against Rs 51 crore in the previous quarter. Its consolidated revenue stood at Rs 308 crore against Rs 310 crore a quarter ago. The expenditure incurred during the quarter was Rs 260 crore compared to Rs 259 crore. Net loss for the quarter was Rs 32 crore as against Rs 28 crore.
On 13 January, the appeals filed by multi system operators (MSOs) Digicable network India and Scod18 Networking were dismissed by the Supreme Court. The appeals were against the cancellation of their digital addressable system (DAS) licence by the ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB).
A tender to auction 58 Logical Channel Number (LCN) slots has been issued by the multi system operator (MSO) Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation (TACTV) on 7 January.
