Chrome DM week 23 Report: Youth genre registers highest growth

As per week 23 report by Chrome Data Analytics and Media, youth genre has registered the highest growth of 25.65 per cent.  In this genre, MTV registered the highest OTS with 83.8 per cent in HSM excluding less than 1 Lakh markets.

At second spot was business news that grew by 25.03 per cent in six metros. CNBC Awaz gained the highest OTS with 79.5 per cent in this genre. The third spot was occupied by Kids genre which gained 22.02 per cent in all India 1 Lakh+ space. Discovery Kids secured the highest OTS with 81.7 per cent.

This week, English movies stood in fourth position in 6 metros and grew by 21.84 per cent. In this genre, Movies Now channel gained the highest OTS with 37.8 per cent. Hindi Movies stood in the fifth position and grew by 17.53 per cent in HSM excluding less than 1 Lakh areas. In this genre Movies OK gained the highest OTS with 88.6 per cent.

As a matter of fact, OTS is the actual census-based percentage connectivity of a channel spread across 81 million homes, as reported by Chrome DM, across analogue cable, digital cable, and DTH.
