IT has launched ‘Ab India aur bhi Happy’ festive offer, slashing rates of the a-la-carte price of Sony Entertainment Television (SET), Sony Sab and Sony Max has been reduced to Rs 12 from Rs 19.
This is in the wake of TRAI’s revised guidelines on TV channel tariffs.
The broadcaster has launched a comprehensive consumer education campaign, #RishtaPakkaSamjho with Amitabh Bachchan to empower consumers to make an informed choice of the various pricing options, either on an à-la-carte basis or a combination/bouquet. This campaign successfully addressed the viewer’s concerns and dilemmas on channel subscription costs and maximum retail packs.
