ShemarooMe taps public WiFi to engage users; partners with Quantifi

This is the first time that an OTT platform is using public WiFi to keep users engaged. The leading video on demand platform ShemarooMe has launched a digital campaign which attracts public Wi-Fi consumers through Quantifi.

Quantifi is a platform that harnesses Public Wi-Fi Networks. This partnership will help in building ShemarooMe as the most preferred OTT platform for consumers accessing public Wi-Fi across India.

The company said that the contextual messaging that is displayed on the screen, while signing up for Wi-Fi, will be managed by Quantifi. The plan will cover over 600 Public Wi-fi spots across India including airports, coffee shops, hotels, colleges, gyms.
