In a technologically enhancement exercise, Zee5 has also launched new UI/UX for the mobile app which it said will ensure 2X Quicker app launches, 3X faster video start, 2X data saving with video compression and hyper-personalised experience.
Zee5 has achieved 100 million+ downloads on the Play store since launch, and recorded a peak 11.4 million DAU (Daily Active Users) base in December 2019 with an average of 140 minutes of watch time per viewer.
