Cartoon Network India has, introduced two new shows-Lego’s Mixels and Steven Universe to provide enhanced entertainments to its viewers. The short time program Lego’s Mixels will be telecast every Saturday at 8:30 am and the magical adventures of Steven Universe every Sunday at 10:30 am.
Disney India has announced the launch of the first-ever chats show for kids in India, the show will telecast first on March 2. Sadhil Kapoor, the nine year old child actor who got frame for his role in Devon ka Dev Mahadev as Ganesh, will host the show. Captain Tiao will be seen to interviewing various celebrities on Disney India in a first-of-its kind format of 8-9 minute episodes. The chat show will have celebrities from various walks of life including Mahesh Bhupathi, Jaaved Jaffrey, Kapil Sharma and Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Doordarshan News which has 50 per cent of the national viewership with 389 news and current affairs channels in the country is tying up with Bombay Stock Exchange to launch a new business programme on financial literacy as part of a move to have more viewer-relevant information. The programme that kick to starts Feb 10 will be an hour-long programme and would be shown five days in a week, Monday to Friday at the 8.30-9.30 p.m. The 12-episode programme will have on board anchors, analysts and psephologists.
