On 28 December, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) extended the last date for the implementation of the new tariff regime to 1st February from 29 December. TRAI said that the regulation 45(3) of the principal regulations dated the 3rd March 2017 has been amended to give the distribution platform operators (DPOs) one month time to migrate customers to the new regime.
